Now making international news, the story goes that Pennsylvania schools ban students from wearing wrist bands and t-shirts with the slogan “I Love Boobies” in support of breast cancer awareness.
It is one thing to laugh at these types of reactions when it isn’t happening in your backyard, but now the Durham District School Board is raising the same issue!!! I have a couple of comments to make about this…
1. To the teachers/administrators: In a world where we can’t get through a month without hearing about a school lock-down because a student has been stabbed or shot don’t we have bigger fish to fry??? The word “boobie” isn’t offensive to a six year old, who could possibly be offended in high school? You are in a position here to lead by example. Teach these student to pick their battles. Fight the important fights and let the non-important issue go.
and…
2. To the students/campaign managers: WHO HASN’T HEARD OF BREAST CANCER???!!!!! Do we really need to be putting our efforts and resources into awareness? How about using the money for research and actually finding the cure instead of awareness campaigns?
Just sayin’…

Anonymous asked: Who do you vote for, when you don't like any of the candidates and you are sick of voting every two years because it is a waste of our money and the country is so divided that we will probably never see a majority government again???
Apparently you vote Conservative! Yeesh!

Anonymous asked: Which famous musician fancied himself more a painter then a guitar player?
Well it is difficult to know specifically who you are talking about, but there are many guitarists that have been bitten by the painting bug. A couple of notables is Paul Stanley from Kiss and Ron Wood from Faces and The Rolling Stones. It is not unusual for creative people to have multiple outlets, but for a famous guitarist to say he is more of a painter than a musician is just marketing. It is one of the D-Bag moves to make themselves look more deep than they really are. If they were more painters than musicians than we wouldn’t know them as musicians. Actions speak louder than words and one does not practice for the amount of time to become a famous rock star if their passion really lies with painting. There is a a lot of ego with musicians, so most of their are is of themselves, but not always.
